We are proud to announce the Pearl Police Department Officer of the Month is Patrol Officer Erick Morris. Officer Morris has been a valued member of our department for several years. He graduated from Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2021 and became a certified police officer in 2022. Before joining our ranks, he dedicated over a decade to serving the State of Mississippi as a correctional officer and certified K-9 handler with the Mississippi Department of Corrections. Throughout his career, Officer Morris has consistently exemplified selfless service and an unwavering commitment to public safety. His personnel file includes multiple commendations for going above and beyond the call of duty. Known for his teamwork, professionalism, and integrity, Officer Morris is a respected colleague and an outstanding representative of our department. We are honored to have Officer Morris serving the Pearl community, and we thank him for his continued dedication.
