Mr. Johnnie Wood started the business in 1964 and moved to the current location at 3607 Hwy 80 East in Pearl in 1980. They are still family owned and operated by Mr. Wood’s son, Craig Wood. We are happy to announce that the Pearl Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month in December is Great American Cookies at the Outlets of Mississippi. GAC is locally owned and operated and strives to bake the best cookies ever made by using premium ingredients and offering excellent customer service.  The most popular item at GAC is their cookie cakes. They offer several different sizes and they can be ordered and picked up on the same day. Other than gourmet cookies, double doozies and brownies, they also offer delicious fresh pretzels and pretzel bites with your choice of dips. Our local GAC is a great community partner and is one of the proud sponsors of the Officer and Firefighter of the Month Program of the Pearl Chamber of Commerce. They have been in business since 1982 and in the Pearl location since 2004. Safelite Auto Glass was selected as the Pearl Chamber of Commerce June Business of the Month. They are located at 1039 Centre Pointe Blvd just off Hwy 80 East . They have 40 employees at the Pearl location that are both well trained and courteous. Safelite moved to Pearl from Jackson in 2014 and they have been actively participating in the chamber and community since then. They are involved with several charities such as March of Dimes, The Epilepsy Foundation and The Wounded Warrior Project. Safelite is well known for auto glass repair and replacement. The Pearl Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month in May is AllyOops, located in the Park Place Shopping Center at 5647 Hwy 80 East in Pearl.
