Congratulations to Chris Williams, owner of Williams Shoe and Boot Repair in Pearl for being selected as the Pearl Chamber Business of the Month! Chris is a 3rd generation shoe cobbler. His grandfather, Augustus Williams started the business in 1960 in Jackson and his son later took over. When Chris learned the trade he eventually took ownership and moved the business to Pearl to continue the family tradition. Chris now has 36 years of hands on experience and takes great pride in his work. He specializes in soles, heels, zippers, leather dying, heel taps and heel cut downs. He repairs luggage, purses, book bags, belts, hats and just about anything else that needs repair. Williams Shoe & Boot Repair is located at 416 Roberts Street in Pearl in the center behind Trustmark Bank. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10-2.
